Introduction: A Newcomer level move for Jive.
Frame: Standard. Count: 1-2, Triple Step, Triple Step. See Jive Basic.
Leaders and Followers: Leaders and Followers move differently.

Instructions (Leader Perspective)
As usual, leaders have an easier time in this step. It is started in open position, left-hand-to-left-hand.
1. Rock-step (see Jive Basic for more detailed instructions). During this step, move your partner's hand from your left hand to your right.
2. Triple step forwards. Try not to move your hand too much, keeping it at about waist height.
3. Curving triple step, rotating counterclockwise roughly 90 degrees. As you do this step, pass your partner's hand from your right hand to your left behind your back (i.e. move your right hand behind your back and then take your partner's hand with your left).

Tips and Tricks
  • Leaders, keep your hands waist-high. Flailing throughout this step would make the transitions not only look bad, but also complicate the actual turning process. You don't want to lose your partner halfway through.
